lab questions number 2

  1. In each lab I used a different tool to figure out what the answer was. I used a caliper to measure the length of the blood splatter and I used math formula to figure out which soil was from the suspect!
  2. My approach is different, I used to go into it complaining and do not excited and now I think there fun. I am more confident now because I have done it more than once and I know how to check my answer to make sure it's correct.

lab questions number 1

  1. Different observations help because if you just look one at thing you might be missing something else and if you look with more detail then you might find things you wouldn't' see otherwise. Hearing one thing and automatically assuming its something isn't' good, you want to listen to it at least 3 times.
  2. It's hard to be precise when your not sure exactly what the answer is and you have to guess. You have to use you best knowledge to decide when your guessing and be as precise as you can be. It affects the confidence because then you might not know exactly the answer your just guessing but you think your right from the information you have and it makes you guess less confident because you don't have notes to back it up except what you think.
  3. You can rely on known data when things look the same with the same numbers or visually look the same. If they look different then you will need to do math to figure out whether they are the same or not if you cannot tell by looking. The difference is whether you can just tell by glancing or by digging in deeper.
